“At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.'” – Matthew 18:1-4
Tonight Jeff talked about the youth of our churches leading the way in this movement of God. We agreed that we all need more childlike faith in God. Faith that His promises are sure, His power is endless, and He’s ready to move. We prayed for God to increase our faith, and to give us discernment in how to follow Him on this path. We prayed for boldness and faith specifically in our young people. We prayed for chances to bless them and lift them up as they pursue Christ. There was a definite sense of urgency to our prayers. Every week that goes by is one week closer to the awakening we’re praying for.
