“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.” – Matthew 5:21-24

This week we began our prayer time outside at the Capitol and continued to pray in the Concourse in groups of 2 and 3. We witnessed an act of deep humility and reconciliation within our little huddle. God used that example to guide our prayers for the night. We prayed for humility and peace within the body of Christ in the Albany area. We prayed for the youth in our churches to be emboldened by the Holy Spirit to do great things for God—even to lead this movement of God for this time. We prayed for brokenness on the part of our leaders. For them to see the eternal cost of division and understand the responsibility that they’ve been given. We prayed for God to raise up intercessors and prayer warriors in his church. We prayed for God to open each of our eyes to what He’s doing and how we can be part of it. For us to see the church and the lost as He sees them. To minister in boldness, faith, and love.

Search me, O God,
And know my heart today;
Try me, O Savior,
Know my thoughts, I pray.
See if there be
Some wicked way in me;
Cleanse me from every sin
And set me free.

I praise Thee, Lord,
For cleansing me from sin;
Fulfill Thy Word,
And make me pure within.
Fill me with fire
Where once I burned with shame;
Grant my desire
To magnify Thy Name.

Lord, take my life,
And make it wholly Thine;
Fill my poor heart
With Thy great love divine.
Take all my will,
My passion, self and pride;
I now surrender, Lord
In me abide.

O Holy Ghost,
Revival comes from Thee;
Send a revival,
Start the work in me.
Thy Word declares
Thou wilt supply our need;
For blessings now,
O Lord, I humbly plead.
