Welcome to the revival.

We’re praying for the Holy Spirit to awaken the church in Albany.

Every Thursday at 6:30pm at the Empire State Plaza (yes, outside).

If it’s freezing or rainy, we may meet elsewhere downtown. Check our facebook page on Thursdays if the weather is bad.

Every time we get together to pray, God does something amazing and unexpected. Here’s where we’ll write about our prayer meetings and post other revival-related thoughts.

Thanksgiving Prayer Picnic

This Thursday, (Thanksgiving) we’re going to do something different. Since we all have the day off, and probably all have plans in the afternoon/evening, we’re going to get together in the morning for a time of prayer, singing, fellowship, and thankgiving. We’ll plan... read more

A prayer for Paris

Good Father, we come to You today with heavy hearts. This news from Paris is so sad and so frustrating. Father, we’re angry when we hear of lives being snuffed out forever with such cruelty and callousness. And though it angers and saddens us, Father, we know... read more

Prayer Journal Week 15 – Collision

This week the atmosphere at the Capitol was much different that it’s been since we started praying there almost 100 days ago. Thankfully, we’ve encountered peaceful and mild weather almost every one of the nights we’ve gone out. Warm temperatures.... read more

Prayer Journal Week 14 – Because God

Answer me, O Lord, answer me, that this people may know that you, O Lord, are God, and that you have turned their hearts back. – 1Kings 18:37 This week God took us to a deeper level of “why.” Each person in our little band of prayer warriors has been... read more

Prayer Journal Week 13 – Restoration

A prayer for government workers

Good Father, I give You thanks and praise today. Praise because You are faithful. You do not forget us. Even when our days are dark or stale or seem pointless, You are at work in us and in the people around us. God, I trust You with that. I trust Your faithfulness.... read more

Prayer Journal Week 12 – City Hall

“But the LORD stands beside me like a great warrior. Before him my persecutors will stumble. They cannot defeat me. They will fail and be thoroughly humiliated. Their dishonor will never be forgotten.” Jeremiah 20:11 NLT Tonight we started by asking for the Holy... read more

The gravity of knowing

I believe the two most important things you can know in life are 1) who you are, and 2) what you’re here for. People spend their whole lives chasing the answers to those questions. There are so many places we search—in a new office, on top of a mountain, in our... read more

Prayer Journal Week 11 – Peace

For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. – Ephesians 6:15 Tonight we arrived ready to go to war again, but we wound up doing just the opposite. Instead of going down the hill as we had expected, the Spirit led... read more

Steady Heart

I’m sure this song was written in the context of a very personal walk with God, but last night it was ringing in my ears. The beauty and delicacy of the melody were a refreshing contrast to the throbbing intensity of spiritual warfare.... read more

We’re passionate about revival

Not an event or an organization, but a group of believers praying for repentance, humility, and unity in the body of Christ in the Capital Region. That's revival: new life.

The prayer of Jesus:
“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me."
John 17:20-23 ESV
